Willie Nelson Says He’s Stopped Smoking Weed

86-year-old country music legend, Willie Nelson says he’s finally stopped smoking weed.

It’s no secret that the “red-headed stranger” loved to indulge in marijuana, but Willie recently said in an interview with KSAT-TV in San Antonio that he stopped smoking for personal health concerns.

“I have abused my lungs quite a bit in the past, so breathing is a little more difficult these days and I have to be careful,” Nelson said.  “I don’t smoke anymore. I take better care of myself today.”

But, that doesn’t mean that Willie has given up cannabis entirely.  His publicist confirms that he still uses cannabis, but did not specify in what form.  Nelson owns a marijuana company named Willie’s Reserve that sells cannabis in edible, vape cartridge, and flower forms.
