Bed, Bath, and Beyond to Close 60 Stores

Business Insider says Bed, Bath, and Beyond will close 60 stores in 2020.

 

Bed, Bath, and Beyond says it plans to close 40-stores in the current fiscal year and 20-stores in fiscal 2020.  The company operates stores under several banners including World Market, buybuy BABY, Christmas Tree Shops, and One Kings Lane.

 

The company has announced closures in  Illinois, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, DC.  That leaves about 44-planned closures remaining.
