A New Hampshire man says he killed a coyote with his bare hands after it grabbed his 2-year-old by the jacket and tried pulling the child away.
Ian O’Reilly said he, his wife and their three children were taking a walk on a trail when the animal came up and tried to attack. He says he attempted to kick at the coyote to deter it, but the coyote would not leave. O’Reilly suffocated the animal and got bitten on the chest and forearm in the struggle. He was given a rabies shot.
WMUR9 says it was one of 3 reported coyote attacks that happened in New Hampshire on Monday.
