Joe Exotic Transferred to Prison Medical Center, Possibly Exposed to COVID-19

“Tiger King” star, Joe Exotic (Joseph Maldonado-Passage) has been transferred to a prison medical center.


Maldonado-Passage was previously placed in quarantine after possibly being exposed to the COVID-19 virus during a stay at a different prison.  The New York Post has reported that inmate records show that he was transferred to the Federal Medical Center (operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons) in Forth Worth, Texas.


Maldonado-Passage is serving a 22-year sentence for falsifying wildlife records, violating the Endangered Species Act, and federal charges for a 2017 murder-for-hire scheme targeting Big Cat Rescue founder, Carole Baskin.

” Tiger King ” star Joe Exotic, 57, has been transferred from coronavirus isolation to a prison medical center. Inmate records show Thursday that Joseph “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage is now located at the Federal Bureau of Prisons-operated Federal Medical Center Forth Worth in Texas.
