Music Producer Phil Spector Dead at 81

Music producer Phil Spector has died at the age of 81 from Covid-related issues.


Spector had been in prison serving 19-to-life for the murder of Lana Clarkson. He had recently been transferred to a hospital to deal with the illness but returned to prison after a small recovery.


While Specter had a dramatic marriage to Ronettes singer Ronnie, he did do work with the Righteous Brothers, John Lennon, and Ike and Tina Turner.  Outside of the controversy, Spector has been best known for his work in the music industry, creating a recording method that would become known as the “Wall of Sound.”

Phil Spector , the music producer responsible for some of the biggest hits in music and the architect of The Wall of Sound has died … sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ. We’re told he died from COVID-related complications, after being transferred from his prison cell to a hospital.
