DESCRIPTION:The Sunset Mardi Gras Association is hosting the Sunset Kidz Wagon Parade on February 16th. This family-friendly Mardi Gras event is not your typical parade. No animals or motorized vehicles are allowed; only wagons\, bicycles\, and wheelchairs are for those in need. All are decorated for Mardi Gras or this year’s theme\, “Over the Rainbow.”\nWagons will line up at 11 am\, but the parade starts at noon. Beginning at the Sunset Community Center on 108 Leo Richard Lane\, the parade turns right on Napoleon Avenue\, then turns left on Landry\, another left on Commercial Street\, then left on Castille\, then proceeding right on Napoleon Avenue. From there\, we will turn left on Budd St\, left on Boudreaux\, ending at the Sunset Community Center.\nThis free event typically takes place the third Sunday before Mardi Gras.

Served with the famous homemade tartar sauce. All for $12.00.\nOrders are first come\, first serve\nPickup will be at the KC Hall on Lions Club Road in Scott each Friday from 5:00 p.m. until it sells out at about 7:30 p.m.\nThe members of this organization provide services to the church and the community. This community-minded organization sponsors many youth activities\, such as Boy Scouts\, Cub Scouts\, Little League\, Soccer\, and Basketball. Annually\, this organization sponsors Scott Founders Day and honors community members involved in Scott’s history.
