Survey: Dine-In Continues to Decline, More Americans Getting Take-Out

According to a new survey, Americans are opting for take-out and are dining in less.

 
 

A Presto Pulse of the Industry survey found that 25% of diners are more likely to use dine-in 46% of diners will opt for take out 22% are less likely to place drive-thru orders compared to a year ago.  Those surveyed voiced their frustration with long wait times and inaccurate orders in drive-thrus.

 
 

70% want technologies like AI voice assistants, personalized menus, and smartphone apps to help.
