After leaving his mark as one of the most accomplished players in Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Baseball history and enjoying a standout career in Major League Baseball, Jonathan Lucroy has earned the game’s highest honor in the state.

The former UL catcher and two-time MLB All-Star has been named to the 2026 class of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, the organization announced Wednesday. Lucroy is one of eight members selected from the competitors’ ballot for enshrinement next summer.
